VISO 2.0.8 - a New Version of the Software for Management of the RACS 5 Access Control System

15 December 2023

Version v2.0.8 of VISO, the Polish security management, access control, and building automation platform, introduces a number of new features and enhancements, the most important of which are:

VISO 2.0.8 - a New Version of the Software for Management of the RACS 5 Access Control System

Support for a network dongle operating over Ethernet is a response to market needs, with customers increasingly opting to work in a virtual environment. The RLK-1 does not need support for a USB port directly on the physical machine, and, thanks to encrypted communication between the dongle and the licence server, system operation is secure and optimised.

Integrations with fire alarm systems, CCTV, VMS platforms, and advanced lift systems are essential to any professional access control system. The addition of integrations with the leading suppliers of the above solutions makes the RACS 5 access control system an even more advanced and functionally complete platform for managing security in business-class facilities.

The functions of the RACS 5 access control system and the VISO SMS module qualify our solution for use at facilities requiring the highest level of security, where integrated management of systems from a single platform is of key importance and increases the protection of people and property in the building.
