The needs for access control in sports and recreational facilities are comparable to other business facilities, including organizing the flow of people and access to designated rooms, employee protection and recording of their working time, or free movement of users/guests in shared zones. In addition, these facilities generate a number of specific requirements typical for recreational facilities, such as billing of services depending on the time of using the room or equipment, control of occupancy of rooms/access zones, control of access to lockers, as well as integration with external software designed to automate and operate the facility.

A well-selected access control solution for a gym, swimming pool or fitness club should meet the above-mentioned needs, and as a result of its implementation, one ID (card, keyring, RFID band, telephone) should allow the facility's customer to use all services offered by him and their efficient settlement.
