About

Miniature, portable reader/writer for MIFARE Classic, and DESFire (EV1, EV2, EV3) proximity transponders.

RUD-3-DES is a PC USB device which allows the reading and writing of a card number to the MIFARE Classic or DESFire cards. Card code can be read/write to any sector of card memory.

Generally, the reader was designed to be used as an administrator reader for the RACS access control systems however, it can also be used in other applications or systems if integrated through available SDK. The reader offers a keyboard emulation mode, in which the code of the card is entered into the keyboard buffer without using any dedicated application.
