Usage and function of "Duress Entry" code

Description:
I have programmed a user with PIN code for example 7777. Codes 7776 and 7778 open door as well as 7777. Why is that happening? How to disable these codes?

Solution:

If the user enters a code, which differs from its originate form by one (plus or minus one), the reader interprets it as an duress code entry. When Duress entry occur the [DURESS entry] event is sent to system HOST and an [FORCED ENTRY] alarm on ALARM output is activated.

For proper reorganization of Duress Entry, the codes of individual users should differ one from each other at least by a value of +/- [2] in the last digit.

There is no possibility to disable "Duress Entry" function. However it is possible to enable option, which allows to define PIN codes which differ by +/- [1] on last position. In order to do this in PR Master software choose: Tools -> Options -> Misc bookmark -> Allow for PIN codes which differ by +/-1 on last position. Also one can disable Duress Entry signalization on advanced PRxx2 series controllers.
