RACS 3.3 to RACS 4.3 software update

Description:
I have got RACS 3 software and I would like to update it to RACS 4.3 . How to do it?

Solution:

PR Master allows to import older configuration files in *.prc , *.pr$ and *.ntc formats, however it refers only to versions RACS 3.9.7 and newer. If RACS version is 3.3 it is only possible to import the complete list of users. To do this please follow the instructions below:

  1. In PR Master 3 export the list of all users and save it to *.csv file (Users > Export),
  2. Open the *.csv file and by using tool Change to (CTRL+H) change all „ ; ” signs to „ , ”,
  3. Save changes (File > Save),
  4. Write down the list of groups with correct order (on the piece of paper or in the notepad),
  5. Uninstall PR Master 3,
  6. Download and install latest version of RACS 4 software,
  7. In RACS 4 define all Groups  with the order from ver. 3,
  8. Click Users > Import > Import list of users from file,
  9. Choose *.csv file and click OK.
