DB-6A is a demonstration board for the RACS 5 v2 access control and building automation system.

The board contains an MC16 controller, a set of MCT readers, a CEB12 contactless exit button and an MCX8-BRD I/O expander. The devices are connected to create an example network access control system.

The board is factory-configured and ready to operate. The factory configuration allows for the presentation of the door access control system based on cards, pins, mobile factors (NFC, Bluetooth) and QR codes. Additionally, the configuration includes alarm zones and automation elements. The board is equipped with I/O line simulators, which allow for the presentation of the status of output lines and the change of the status of input lines. The DB-6A set contains all possible test licenses of the MC16 controller, allowing the use of the controller not only to control doors, but also as an access controller for cabinets, lifts or automation. The board comes with a license for the VISO EX program, which allows to run advanced functions of the Access Control system available in the EX version, in particular integration with intruder alarm systems, fire detection systems, CCTV, PSIM, BMS systems, as well as the Partitions and global Anti-Passback functions. Third party external readers operating in the Wiegand and OSDP v2.2 protocol standards can be connected to the board. The set includes MIFARE® Classic proximity cards.

The board is a perfect tool for presenting, learning and testing the operation and capabilities of the RACS 5 v2 system. It is usually used for training installers and designers of access control systems and presenting the system properties to potential investors. All licenses and factory settings of devices and the system are saved on the memory card installed in the MC16 controller.
