MCT82M-IO-HR Hotel Room Entry Terminal RACS 5 in Hotel Applications

The MCT82M-IO-HR is a RACS 5 system terminal dedicated to hotel installations.

The main function of the terminal is to control the entrance to the hotel room via proximity cards and signalling hotel functions (Do not disturb, Clean up, Luggage, Buffet, Assistance, Service). In addition to the functions mentioned, the terminal provides a set of built-in general-purpose inputs and outputs.

Terminal inputs and outputs can be used to control external devices (lock, signalling device, lighting, etc.), and interfacing of the external buttons and sensors (door opening sensor, window opening sensor etc.). Using the MCT82M-IO-HR room entrance terminal along with the MCT86M-IO-CH-HR panel, you can get a basic set of devices that meet the typical requirements of access control and hotel room automation.

The MCT82M-IO-HR terminal supports encrypted sectors of MIFARE® cards, which protects the system against the use of non-original cards as well as duplication of the original ones. The terminal requires a connection to an access controller that controls the entire system logic. Connection with the controller is via the addressable RS485 bus.
