Programming of the SL2000 series code lock

Description:
I have SL2000 series code lock and I would like to change codes and program it properly.

Solution:

In order to configure the electronic keypad lock the EEPROM reset procedure should be carried out first. The EEPROM reset procedure restores factory defaults for codes as well as other configuration parameters.

  1. Power off device and put the jumper from the NORMAL position to EEPROM RESET position,
  2. Power on device - the lock will signal that EEPROM memory is reseted by short beeps (** ** **),
  3. Move the jumper from the EEPROM RESET to NORMAL position,
  4. Enter ten digits [C1..C10] in sequence - they will configure the lock and wait till device saves new settings and generates three double beeps (** ** ** ), which confirms that new configuration has been saved,
  5. After this step proceed to code programming procedure.

Example:

After 4 "beeps" (** ** **) - jumper is switched and following digits are put in sequence: 000 90 10 033

Description:

(Delay before activation of the relay output (00s); Relay output activation time (9s); Maximum time for door to remain open (1s); Multiple programming of the Main and Installer code enabled; Sets OFF the FBK function (Keypad blocking function) and FBWP (relay output blocking function); User codes are 8 digits long; Master and Installer codes are 10 digits long)

Configuration parameters definitions:

[C1C2] : Delay before activation of the relay output (00..99s)

[C3C4] : Relay output activation time (00..99s)

[C5C6] : Maximum time for door to remain open (00..99s), (00 sets unlimited time)

[C7] : Multiple programming of the Main and Installer code enabled/disabled

  • [0] Re-programming of the Main Code enabled, Re-programming of the Installer Code enabled
  • [1] Re-programming of the Main Code disabled, Re-programming of the Installer Code enabled
  • [2] Re-programming of the Main Code enabled, Re-programming of the Installer Code disabled
  • [3] Re-programming of the Main Code disabled, Re-programming of the Installer Code disabled

[C8] : Sets on/off the FBK function (Keypad blocking function) and FBWP (Relay output blocking function)

  • [0] Keypad blocking function disabled, Relay output blocking function enabled
  • [1] Keypad blocking function enabled, Relay output blocking function enabled
  • [2] Keypad blocking function disabled, Relay output blocking function disabled
  • [3] Keypad blocking function enabled, Relay output blocking function disabled

[C9] : Sets the length of the users codes

  • [0] User codes are 2 digits long
  • [1] User codes are 4 digits long
  • [2] User codes are 6 digits long
  • [3] User codes are 8 digits long

[C10] : Sets the length of the Master and Installer codes

  • [0] Both codes are 4 digits long
  • [1] Both codes are 6 digits long
  • [2] Both codes are 8 digits long
  • [3] Both codes are 10 digits long

Default values of codes:

[Main code]: [1111(1)] , all digits are ?1?, the number of digits depends on the C10 parameter,
[Installer code]: [2222(2)], all digits are ?2?, the number of digits depends on the C10 parameter,
[User code 01]: [33(3)], all ?3?, the number of digits depends on C9 parameter,
[User code 02..55]: are blank, does not exist.

Codes programming:

  1. Re-programming of the Main Code: Installer: [*][Old Main Code][#][New Main Code][#]
  2. Re-programming of the Door Code: [Installer Code][#] Enters to the user programming mode:

[0][1][#][Code][#] Programs User 1 code.
[0][2][#][Code][#] Programs User 2 code.
....-...
[5][5][#][Code][#] Programs User 55 code.
