VISO 2.0.8 - a New Version of the Software for Management of the RACS 5 Access Control System

Version v2.0.8 of VISO, the Polish security management, access control, and building automation platform, introduces a number of new features and enhancements, the most important of which are:

• support for the RLK-1 network dongle;
• integration with the fire alarm systems: POLON 4000 and POLON 6000 (POLON-ALFA), Integral EvoxX (Schrack Seconet);
• support for recorders and cameras: Milestone Open Network Bridge, Bosch BVMS, Tiandy;
• integration with KCEGC GCAC/RCGIF lift system (KONE);
• support for PIN codes under duress (Grade IV requirement);
• extension of the functionality of the VISO SMS module.

Support for a network dongle operating over Ethernet is a response to market needs, with customers increasingly opting to work in a virtual environment. The RLK-1 does not need support for a USB port directly on the physical machine, and, thanks to encrypted communication between the dongle and the licence server, system operation is secure and optimised.

Integrations with fire alarm systems, CCTV, VMS platforms, and advanced lift systems are essential to any professional access control system. The addition of integrations with the leading suppliers of the above solutions makes the RACS 5 access control system an even more advanced and functionally complete platform for managing security in business-class facilities.
