**Description:**
After UT-4 communication interface is connected to the network there is no possibility to install it because it cannot be found by DigRealPort Setup Wizard.

**Solution:**

The problem is caused by router or firewall which blocks ADDP broadcast. The best and quickest way is to disable software firewall (Windows firewall blocks Digi software by default). Adding exception to firewall rules may be also necessary. If hardware firewall is the cause it is recommended to temporarily disable the firewall or connect UT-4 interface trough UTP cross cable directly to ethernet card and detect the interface again. UT-4 has default settings for IP rules set to AUTO and if there is no DHCP server in the network the device will not receive IP address according to the network but from the range of addresses 169.254.0.0 - 169.254.255.255.
