#  Visitor Management

Visitors in the RACS 5 system constitute a separate category of users and are served on different rules from other system users.

###  About solution

Visitors in the RACS 5 system constitute a separate category of users and are served on different rules from other system users.

Visit processing begins with the Visitor Wizard. Using this wizard, program operator enters into system the visitor's personal data, creates an identifier with appropriate permissions, and optionally prints a personalized access card. If the visitor has already been registered in the system, it is possible to import his personal data from database. After completing the visitor registration process, the data is sent to the system and the visitor can start the visit.

The identifier assigned to the visitor is automatically disabled after it is used on the selected exit point from the building or when the identifier validity period is expired. The [system software](https://www.roger.pl/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=105&lang=en-GB) enables detailed reporting of visit as well as tracking of its current status. For each visit, system operator can create a note that can contain additional information related to the visit. Visit reports can be exported to text files: PDF, DOCX, TXT, XLSX.

Visits records are archived in the system database and can be later viewed. Visitor management is offered as a licensed [VISO EX](https://www.roger.pl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=374:viso-st-viso-ex-application-for-racs-5-system-management-and-configuration&catid=105:software&lang=en-GB&Itemid=421) program module called Visitor Book. Simplified visitor management is also available in the standard version of access control system software (VISO ST).
