Programming of the SL1000 series code lock

Description:
I have SL1000 series code lock and I would like to change codes and program it properly.

Solution:

In order to configure the electronic keypad lock the EEPROM reset procedure should be carried out first. This will allow to configure the code lock and restore default settings:

  1. Power off the device and remove jumper from PZ5 position and put it to PZ6 (from the NORMAL position to EEPROM RESET),
  2. Use jumper to set proper work modes for RELAY and AUX output lines on PZ1, PZ2, PZ3, PZ4 contacts,
  3. Power on the device, wait few seconds, the device will beep periodically which indicates EEPROM memory reset,
  4. Switch the jumper from the PZ6 position to PZ5 (from EEPROM RESET position to NORMAL) and wait until sound ** ** (two sequences of two short signals),
  5. Enter five digits [C1..C5] to configure the lock and wait for the device to sound three beeps ( *** ), which confirms that new configuration has been saved,
  6. After this step proceed to code programming procedure.

Example:

After 4 "beeps" * * * * - jumper is switched and following digits are entered in sequence: 1 0 1 0 5 (which means: multiple code reprogramming is enabled, the use of the vault code is disabled, the output signaling the BELL function by pressing [#] button, delay on the stable output 5 seconds).

Configuration parameters definition:

[C1] Enables multiple code reprogramming.
[C1]=[0] ; codes can only be set once.
[C1]=[1] ; codes can be set any number of times.

[C2] Enables the use of Vault code.
[C2]=[0] ; disables the use of the Vault code.
[C2]=[1] ; enables the use of the Vault code.

[C3] Defines the function of the PREALARM transistor output.
[C3]=[0] ; the output signals the PREALARM-DURESS function.
[C3]=[1] ; the output signals the DOOR BELL function.

[C4C5] Determines the time for which the Momentary Output is triggered (C4C5=01..99 seconds).

Code programming:

  1. Re-programming of Main Code: [*][Old Main Code][#][New Main Code][#][New Main Code]][#][#],
  2. Re-programming of Main Code and Door Code: [*][Old Main Code][#][New Main Code][#][New Main Code][#][New Door Code][#][#],
  3. Re-programming of Main Code, Door Code and Locking Code: [*][Old Main Code][#][New Main Code][#][New Main Code][#][New Door Code][#][New Close Code][#],
  4. If Vault Code function is enabled the Vault Code re-programming procedure is as follows: [*][Old Vault Code][#][New Vault Code ][#][New Vault Code ][#].

Default codes values after RESET procedure::

Main code [1234] - This code can consist of 2 to 6 digits. It is used to control all of the lock?s outputs as well as for programming.

Vault code [9999] - This is a four-digit code which can be enabled or disabled during the lock configuration procedure. If this code is enabled the stable mode output will only switch from OFF to ON after the Main Code is entered followed by the Vault Code.

Door code [1111] - This is a four-digit code which is only used for controlling the output operating in the pulse mode. It is used for switching on the pulse output for a time defined by [C4C5].

Locking code [2222] - This is a four-digit code which is only used for controlling the output operating in the stable mode. It causes the stable mode output to switch from ON to OFF. Use of this code requires command 4 to be entered before.
