About

The MCX16-AP is an expander that allows connection of the Aperio by ASSA ABLOY electronic door locks to the MC16 access controller.

The access rules to doors equipped with Aperio locks are determined by the configuration of the access controller which furthermore records events which occurred on doors controlled by Aperio locks. The Aperio locks are connected to the MCX16-AP via the Aperio Ethernet HUB while the MCX16-AP expander is connected to the RS485 communication bus of the MC16 access controller.
